Capelin Crew was founded in 2014, rooted in the snowboard culture of the Yin Mountains and Yan Mountains of Northern China — just 300 kilometres from Zhangjiakou, the city that hosted the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Inspired by the spirit of snowboarding, exploration, and adventure, Capelin Crew creates technical outdoor apparel that combines performance, creativity, and everyday style.

Capelin Crew brings the bold visual energy of snowboard culture into every product through distinctive silhouettes, unique color combinations, and modern designs — while maintaining essential outdoor performance features such as waterproofing, breathability, and warmth.

Yes. Sustainability is part of our manufacturing process. Our factories are BSCI certified, and we use environmentally responsible materials including PFAS-free water-repellent treatments and recycled fiber yarns made from recycled plastic bottles.
Currently, Capelin Crew does not operate its own flagship stores. However, our products are available through selected retail partners in locations including Toronto, Taiwan, and the Netherlands.

Yes. Our REBORN recycled fiber is made from recycled plastic bottles, reducing the use of virgin polyester and helping lower environmental impact.
Yes. Our products use breathable TPU/PU membranes. Each product page includes detailed breathability ratings, typically ranging from 10,000–15,000 g/m²/24h. A higher number indicates better moisture vapor transmission.
Selected ski jackets include a built-in RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector. The reflector requires no battery or activation. Professional rescue teams equipped with RECCO detectors can use it to help locate people during avalanche emergencies.
Yes. All Capelin Crew snow products, including jackets and pants, feature fully taped seams to improve waterproof protection. Please refer to each product page for specific construction details.
